This is still an issue. I need to sell this car but, no way I'm going to not running.
Hate to pay a shop to tace an electrical issue...we know where that could lead..$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Well.....the ignition switch wasn't the problem.......
I hate electrical crap!!!

Ill have to check my "parts Department". I know I have to have one....I have stripped 4 850's.

Now I need to find the location. I have seached my Haynes manual and repair database. I can find info on the key/tumbler replacement but not the electrical portion.

MIJ....LEE, I know one of you two must have some idea what's going on.

97 R has been sitting for a couple months. It cranks but doesn't start. First thing I noticed was no hummm when the key is turned on. I have a few extra so, I immediately changed the fuel pump relay...nothing. Then I got to checking and found several other electrical items not working.......heat/ac ...

Still need front bumper and fog light.

Now, thanks to a side swipe yesterday, I am looking for both drivers side doors and fender.

All parts needed in BLACK.

I can rotate the the drivers side without noise. Its only when I rotate the passengers side I hear the click. Lying under the car you can clearly here the click in the trans pan.

I had the originals rebuilt. I did all the work as far as removal and installation. They (local shop) installed new CV's and boots.

Just had both axels rebuilt on my 97 850R.......all new CV's and boots. Now I am getting a "clicking" sound that seems to be in the tranny. I have pulled and re-seated both axels. It seems to be caused by the passengers side....can hear it when the right tire is rotated while on jack stand...
