Judging by the age of the vehicle, the no start condition, and codes, it sounds like you need a camshaft position sensor. I was unaware that the change in tensioner occurred midway through the '98 model year. A word to the wise for those ordering from eeuroparts.com, they are not very clear in their parts listings about this!

Mysterious Timing Belt Parts '98 V70 GLT
Can somebody help me identify these parts? What the hell kind of tensioner is that? It appears that the hydraulic tensioner is missing and that the pulley is some strange part. I have all new parts ready to go. Should I just cut the belt and put in the new parts? I don't know who the guy is who work...
