hey volvo-ites, I just had a fuel emission leak code pop up(P0455) via "scan gauge II". After having the 70,000 mile service done afew 1000 miles ago, i wouldn't suspect the hoses to be bad. So the first thing i did was tighten down the fule cap and reset the cel. Started up and no code. C...

the ecu upgrade from Rica calls for a 98 octane. i havent checked the current price for the local 100 octane but i know it isn't praticial for even for a weekend car.

I found another fourm that had a formula for making 92 octane in to 98/99 octane by adding Xylene or Toluene avalable at paint supply stores. they said Home Depot no longer carried it but Lowel's did. 11 gal. of 92 + 3 gal. xylene = 98/99 . i'm going to look in to this more before i try it in my car...

the bass slap kills dims my lights. i should do both upgrades. what's y'all experence with this this? im allways afraid to change any thing from oem with this car cause every thing is is so touchy and fragile.
