Mike I am having the same problem just on the opposite sides. Here's the post I put up and the responses to it.

Re: Worst cars you've owned
2002 GMC Yukon, I loved it but at approximately 42k miles "6K out of warranty" the Transmission blew "literally" while doing 75 mph. I fought GM for a month to get them to fix it due to the fact that it was a known issue with this transmission. They fixed it for $500 after origin...

Re: 2002 s60 t5 front end groaning
Jevhev, I had a groaning coming from the front right wheel a while back and thought it was either a bad universal joint or wheel hub and it turned out to be a bad tie rod.

S60 Timing Belt Replacement
I had my timing belt replaced at 103k miles on my 01 S60 T5 by Volvo. After reading about the tensioner failures after the 150k mark. I went back and reviewed my receipt to see if Volvo replaced it, which they didn't. So as a safety precaution I am going to have a local shop do the belt again along ...

Re: heavy vibration from rear at speed even after wheel balance
Sure sounds like a bent wheel. It is not always noticeable when they are bent and even a slight bend will cause a vibration, especially with low profile tires. Also assuming that you have rear disk brakes it possibly could be a badly warped rotor.

S60 A/C 1 side blowing out colder air then other
I have an 01 S60 T5, I noticed this problem last year, now that the weather is warming up again in the north east I noticed it again. When I have the A/C on, the 2 drivers side vents blow out cold air and the two passenger side vent blow out air noticeably warmer. I'm thinking that maybe a door of s...

Re: Fan Runs Continously 04 V70
Otis just to be clear, on my S60 it doesn't always happen it is as you said "somewhat intermittently". It also doesn't always happen when I just get out of the car. At time's I have been out of the car for an hour and I go into my garage and the fan will have come on and be running. It sou...

Re: Fan Runs Continously 04 V70
Otis I tried looking for a post on this within the forums to see if I can get a better explanation for you but couldn't locate one. It is normal for my S60 to do this after the car is shut down. It usually occurs when the weather is getting hotter. I believe it is to cool down the interior of the ca...

Re: Mass Air Flow Sensor Code
I thought I wait a while before I posted a response, just to make sure everything was fixed. As far as the MAF code, I replaced the Air Mass meter, cleared the code and I haven't had a problem since. The whining grinding noise looks like it was coming from the wheel. I am still at a loss of what exa...
