Howdy, I've a 2004 xc70 turbo and I'm changing the timing belt. Trouble is, no matter how many times I rotate the crank pulley, the cam pulleys do not end up at the top. If I get the front cam marking straight up the rear cam pulley is about 8 teeth short of the top. And that is not even taking into...

2004 xc70 Well I guess I assumed it was a small battery up front. Maybe it's just terminals for cables running from the back. I just want to be sure I don't trip any codes, airbags, or lose my radio. I bought the car used and don't have codes. By the way, thanks for putting my questions in the corre...

Which Battery do you disconnect?

OK, two more questions. There are two batteries in my xc70. A smaller one in the engine compartment and a larger one in the rear. Do I need to disconnect the negative on both?
Also, what about the radio code?

I don't show a code yet, but the last time I lost power, the airbag warning came on and I had to pay $60 to have it reset.

When I disconnet the neg battery cable, will I have to go to the dealer to erase codes?
