I've had that exact problem, it was poor alignment in my case. It is either to much positive camber or a toe issue.

Re: 2006 S60R Misfiring, poor compression, oil/carbon on pis
Two days of driving later since regapping the plug and no more misfires, just a long term fuel trim code that came back after everything was cleared, checked for intake leaks and also looked at physical condition of front O2 sensor; both appear ok. Give it more time, or any other suggestions?

2006 S60R Misfiring, poor compression, oil/carbon on pistons
Hey all!
I am the designated mechanic on my friends 2006 S60R(with 180,000 miles) and am a little bit stumped, here goes!
For the past couple months it has been misfiring in cylinders 3 and 4. I have replaced all plugs and coils; no big change. He has also had some goofy issues with coolant, as ...

you could also swap the coils around to different cylinders and see if the misfire follows the suspected coils.

Re: 2005 S80 T5 Stalling
Or if you feel like spending $60 you could just buy a new fuel pressure sensor and install it yourself and take the gamble :) Before I get crucified for linking a non Bosch/Volvo sensor, it would appear based on the reviews this is in fact a reboxed Bosch/Volvo part; obviously click the MVS Amazon ...

This was a result of a faulty fuel pump PEM was fine, have had no issues in the past year.

Re: 2005 S80 T5 Stalling
I lean towards fuel pump, you should be able to see the idle load % with Vida/Dice unit; if memory serves, it should be within 5% of 35% load when fully warmed up idling. I had mine go bad on my XC70 and it was at 42% load at idle and it would cause my car to stall out after it was hot. Try ...

Re: 2006 XC70 Cold Air blowing on Driver Side in Heat mode
The Dice pro in my mind is the best. It is the newer model on the market and the firmware is upgradeable and it looks better and is a lot more sleek and less obtrusive with cabling etc. I personally have the old vida/dice and the newer one, both work the same for me. FYI it says Win7 Pro only, but I ...
