Re: Is it worth it to use premium fuel?
"No one tracks or can track nor need to track what you are purporting and that is pinging as the major factor in MPG" I don't think " no one can track", perhaps you can't because you don't have an understand what octane rating is and why there are different grades. Without that u...

Re: 2006 S60R Headlight Confusion
Doesn't the R have xeon light headlights? If the bulb is out either the bulb is bad or the ballast is bad. I would do what @erikv11 suggested, and if the problem moves it's the bulb, it not, then its likely the ballast.

Re: Is it worth it to use premium fuel?
I don't agree with your definition of Stable Fluid which included it's not about better mileage and power. Not my definition, I included sites, that know better then we do, that use the same term. Octane is a measurement, not an ingredient. It's a measurement of fuels ability to withstand pre-ignit...

Re: Is it worth it to use premium fuel?
The fuel is not more stable but just combust better. . . Your information in not correct. Instead of two idiots arguing something we are not experts in, I will simply site source from the. U.S. Energy Information Administration https://www.eia.gov/energyexplained/gasoline/octane-in-depth.php Second...

Re: Is it worth it to use premium fuel?
This is a real good question. I don't believe the answer is more mpg or power. My understanding is high octane is a "more stable" fluid, when under high compression and heat there is reduced pre-ignition. Our i5 have a compression ratio of 10.3:1. Is that high enough to cause pre-ignition ...

Re: Using Vida On Virtual Machine - Any Disadvantage?
I run it in a VM on a Linux laptop no problem. Performance doesn't seem to be an issue. Previously, it was in a VM on a Mac, again no problems.

Re: 2006 S60 Door Panel "wood" part replaceable?
They are, but you wil will need a donor door panel to remove the wood panel piece.. They are attached using starlock push on washer, simple cut the washer and the wood panel piece comes off. You can get new starlock from Amazon. However, given the wood trim is common, I would just replace the panel ...
