My wife's Volvo has the top of the range stereo with cassette, single CD and radio in the dash. It has the option for the six disc but not the actual changer. Can I find the plug for the six disc and plug this into it so she can rock her mp3 player by using the aux button on the stereo?

Update: I put in the new cap n rotor, it made no difference :-( However, I did unplug the MAF sensor from its harness. Started the car.. it runs great! I took it out and drove it-no issues.
