1995 850 Turbo - Cylinder Head Casting Question
I have tried to figure this out and just seem to be more confused than I was before. I have a crack in the head from my 95 850 Turbo. It has a casting number of 1001683. Can I replace this head with any other turbo head from an 850 or 98 S70 (Non-VVT), or do I need to find one with the same casting ...

Re: 850 Oil Pooling In Turbo
You are looking down into the turbo from where the over the engine pipe attaches. I had a smoking issue previously, but it smelled more like coolant than burning oil and had stopped before the axle incident. When it was smoking I checked and there was no noticeable shaft play. My son is itching to g...

850 Oil Pooling In Turbo
I was looking at the turbo in my 95 last night. I have been doing a thorough walk through after the passenger side axle broke. In looking in the cold air discharge I noticed oil pooled in the turbo. 20141204_184238.jpg I did a PCV replacement a couple of months ago when I was getting positive pressu...

850 Drivetrain Replacement
The CV joint on my right axle grenaded the other day. I am not sure what all is damaged as I had fluids other than grease on the ground. Since I have to take the front end apart anyway I was thinking about replacing a few things while I am at it. In looking for control arms I wanted to know what peo...

Re: Silla Radiator Opinions
18 month warranty versus a lifetime warranty is part of the attraction.
Also, I am not finding the Nissens 8601356 for less than $160.

Does anyone have any experience with using Silla brand radiators? I can pick one up for about $130 with a lifetime warranty.

2007 S60R Caliper Finish Marred
I didn't pay enough attention to wheel clearance when I was putting a set of snow tires that came off of an non R S60. Needless to say I marred up the finish on my calipers. I know my mistake and I don't think anyone could make me feel dumber than I already do. With that said, does anyone know of a ...

Re: Automatic Shift Lock - Not The Switch This Time
Update on my issue. It actually looks like this is ignition related. It seems to all depend on exactly where I have the key turned to in the ignition. I don't have any binding issues with turning the key, so I don't think it is anything physically broken in the ignition. Would a new Ignition Switch ...
