Could Someone Point Me to An Engine Wiring Diagram 99 XC

Specifically I need to find out where the trigger signal for coils 2&3 is supposed to be coming from. I have power and ground at those coils and they are not firing.

1999 Xc 70 Coil #'s 2&3 not firing

Can anyone give me any insight as to why these coils are not firing. The ground and the constant work as they should but I have no way to check the trigger, are there any weak links anyone knows of? The coil on number 2 is a brand new bosch, I will switch out with a known good one tomorrow to see if...

Re: 96 850 Optima Battery replacment?

I would advise you not to buy an optima battery, the are no better than any store brand. the only reason they are still selling is because of the reputation that the early optimas built. What used to make the good is that they used virgin lead to make them. Now that optima has been bought out they u...

xc70 turbo oil return line??

I have oil leaks everywhere on this car and went to do the o-ring and gasket. After reading many write-ups and threads I thought I would give it a go. Once I got under the car it seems there is no access to the bolts or the pipe on a awd car. Can anyone give me some tips on how to replace the o-ring...

Re: 1999 Xc Very Rough Idle and Loud Turbo Whine

After much tinkering today I have an update, Thanks for all of the help so far, it looks like I'm gonna need some more. I replaced one of the coils that looked suspicious and it didn't help, the wiring to all the coils looks horrible but checks out ok. The smoke from under the hood is coming from so...

1999 Xc Very Rough Idle and Loud Turbo Whine

I need some help from you all. I have recently acquired a 99 xc70 and it runs like crap. The starter sounds weak and takes a few turns to start. When it does start it it runs very rough and shakes pretty bad, the car isn't blowing any smoke out of the exhaust but plenty comes from under the hood. Th...

New to Me 1999 xc70 Very Rough Idle, Oil Leak

Just traded my reliable 98 na v70 for a 99 xc turbo that isn't doing so well. It idles very rough and the oil light is coming on. I have driven about 30 miles so far and can't get a cel to come on. The weather here is not allowing me to get too in depth with this car yet so if some of you could poin...

Re: '99 V70 Fuel Door Won't Open

I had this problem at the gas station one time and ended up prying open the gas door, in my 98 v70. When I got home I found that the passenger side door lock switch was acting up and after rocking the switch back and forth a bunch of times it cleared the problem up.
