Dont know about any sensor but could you be referring to the clock spring its called

Specifically I need to find out where the trigger signal for coils 2&3 is supposed to be coming from. I have power and ground at those coils and they are not firing.

Can anyone give me any insight as to why these coils are not firing. The ground and the constant work as they should but I have no way to check the trigger, are there any weak links anyone knows of?
