Confirmed I replaced the wrong one. Was led astray by another poster in another thread/site along with the Carsoft code referencing the "Intake" so I focused on that other intake solenoid. Just removed the smaller one next to it and was total crap

Hey pgill - figure I owed an update since my belt/pulley experience. So that actually went OK - my goal was to keep the car on the road as long as possible and that was almost a year ago! Although it's pretty old (same as yours) it only has 110k on the odometer and the dealer I got it from 2 years ...

Thanks guys, those special service tools alone would be about $1500 - totally not worth it vs. paying someone. But if an external one like Jimmy posted works maybe I'll take this on. Quiet tight in there...
