Sucks to hear. Well, I have just ordered a GROM unit, so I will guess that will do. Thanks for the reply though.

Weird radio HU-850 CD skipping in a S60 T5 MY2005

Hi. I own a S60 T5 MY2005 fitted with a HU-850 and factory satnav. And I have encountered a bit of weird radio/CD skipping error lately. I have searched this forum and other Volvo related forums, but have not found a possible solution. Only a faint hint from a Polish guy with broken English and pict...

2005 Volvo S60 Front grille

I've been searching the forum a bit and on the internet, and I've found a clear answer. Does the front grille interchange between the two phase models (2001-2004 and 2005-2009)?

And why is a flush so devasting for the transmission?

2005 S60 T5 "Hard" shifts with autobox

Hi. I've recently bought a Volvo S60 T5 with an automatic gearbox. I'll admit it wasn't my first choice, would prefer the manual version, but here in Denmark a good sorted T5 model are rare. Anyways, it's now been a couple of weeks since I took delivery of the car, and I'm getting used to driving th...

Which model year did the S60/V70 come with the 6 speed auto?

I'm tickingering with the idea to trade in my brilliant S60 2.4 (non-turbo) with a S60 T5 or V70 T5. I've prefer a manual, but due to the limits of cars that suits my requirements for a new Volvo, I would have to consider buying one with an automatic transmission. The question is what model year did...

Re: 1994 460 GLE: Light bulb dash symbol

You should also be aware, that installing two bulbs with different wattage (e.g. rear-light bulbs) can trigger the bulb failure even if you visually can't see any difference upon expecting the car.

Re: 440 1995 B18U - Troubleshooting cooleant leak

After a lot of troubleshooting, I finally found the leak - it was the backside of the engine. It was a slow leak from a hose and was only leaking when the engine was hot. So I apparently ran the engine dry of cooleant(!!!), but luckily the engine seems to have taken no damage *pheew*. Replaced the h...
