:D :D Does it double as a tow rope for a Volkswagen?

I can sell you set of matching 11 year old winter tires with cracks on the treads!

Re: 98-2000 ECC Cold Temperature Issue, 9171800 intermittent

If I recall, the A/C in the P80's does not work under about 10C. So if you have the A/C enabled it may have an over-ride in place until the cabin temp gets above that. Have you tried running the heating on manual rather than auto with the A/C dis-abled?

Re: Used Volvo Parts in Ohio? Where?

Just did a quick Google search for Cleveland area junkyards. Websites are mostly poor or non-existent but there is a Pull-a-part listed, again don't like their search engine but it did pull up a 98 V70.

Good luck with the move!

Re: P80 and 850 Ebrake cable replacement: 9209756

I documented my encounter with a set of aftermarket FWD parking brake cables. Bought from our friends at FCP they were the only options listed then other than Volvo OE. They were rubbish and were not even the correct dimensions. They were too short between the back plate at the wheel and the mountin...

Re: Volvo Findings! (What have you found on Craigslist?)

On the S60R theme, here is another one is here in Canada. A stick shift if I am not mistaken: https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/calgary/2005-volvo-s60r/1545247657 Price is not too bad. Here is a V70R also. Price is high for the mileage: https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/calgary/volvo-v70r/154582...

Re: Transmission going out.

There is also a flush method on MVS which allows you to run trans oil out via one of the cooler hoses and filling via the dip-stick tube. I would also do what the guys recommend. Again, not aware of there being a filter but then I don't know everything! :D  If you decide to do the flush method,...

Re: RIP 10/1998 to 01/2021 Elizabeth 1999 V70T5M56

It is indeed a sad day to all of us who have learned from you and your cars over the years as we know this car has a particular affection to you (infection?). Hopefully she gets to live another day. In your first trip picture, if that is your cottage in the trees then I think it needs more work than...

Re: Help with radio code SC-901 Topic is solved

DO you still have the original Volvo handbook in the car? If so, over here the dealers used to put a business card in the back with the radio code in it. If the radio is the original to the car, Then call the dealer and they will be able to give you the Code from the Vin# If the radio is not the ori...
