Re: 850 heater issues
I still have the original blower in my 93 850. I had to change the ECC because a capacitor died. They placed the capacitors right next to the motor controllers. There are 5 motor controllers and 5 capacitors. The #3 cap. died because it got the hottest and there's poor circulation in there. Volvomoo...

Re: 850 driven 1,800 miles on 4 cylinders
My spark plug wires were only a few years old. I have a new set. I can change them out.
Cap and rotor are in good shape.

Re: 850 driven 1,800 miles on 4 cylinders
I'm not familiar with ht leads (thus I did not change them). What are they?
Also, I don't know how to verify if power is getting to the plug. Is there a tutorial available somewhere?

850 driven 1,800 miles on 4 cylinders
Last month I put over 5000 miles on my 93 850 GLT. It now has 265,000 miles on it. The last 1700 miles were on 4 cylinders. No check engine light ever came up. The first thing I did was to change the spark plugs. The #4 plug was wet while the others were dry, with hard crusts. The problem was still ...

Re: new turn signal bulb won't blink
Fixed it! I had to re-seat the bulb a couple of times. I think I would push it in too hard bending one of the contacts away from the base of the bulb. I'm going to put di-electric grease on the contacts on the weekend. I'm surprised they weren't greased. I took the hazard switch out because I though...

Re: new turn signal bulb won't bink
The socket and base are fine. The other 3 turn indicators work fine. When I hit the hazard switch only the front right light doesn't flash.
I'll try putting the bulb in 180 degrees from its current position to see if that works. Otherwise i'll try cleaning the hazard switch contacts.
Thank you.

new turn signal bulb won't blink
My front right turn signal went out on my 93 850. I replaced the bulb with an 1157A. The old bulb was burnt to a crisp. My 850 has day time running lights. The new bulb comes on but it doesn't blink when I want to signal a turn. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: How can I install a toggle switch for the AC?
My A/c system was working well before the old ECU fried. Where's the A/C clutch?

Re: How can I install a toggle switch for the AC?
I’m thinking of bypassing the A/C relay. Can this be done?
