Well - the red "alarm light is not flashing" on the dash and I can see that the flashing light on my Kenwood head unit is not flashing.. I will probably try method 1 tomorrow - an ordered key would not be here til probably Wednesday - really was hoping they could make one for me on site..

Maybe a dumb question - but have you tried pulling out the radio and checked to see if a shop or PO may have written the code on the label - I have done this on all my volvo's just a thought.. I have bought several that have already had the code written there as well...

CHicks Im pretty sure the power antenna is activated by power to the unit - I have installed the aerial switch that allows the antenna to go down when listening to CD's/Aux/Ipod's so I could not imagine that they would sell a unit without power antenna (could be wrong - been wrong before - haha) tha...
