Re: Canada: 11th Annual Waterdown Volvo Show & Swap Meet
Are you telling me there is nobody in the Greater Toronto Area interested in this meet? I know it is early but wanted to see what type of interest there was here?

Re: 98 v70r front repair help
The main structure of the front is the beam which connects to the bumper. If this is not damaged you should be okay. Usually if the front end gets pushed in you will lose the header panel which is made out of plastic. The rad support which joins both these main beams usually gets crumpled but you ca...

Re: Platinum or regular spark plugs?
I use Bosch Platinum and Champion coppers depending on the car. The low performance ones go with the base copper ones but for the special ones I use the platinum. I have never had any misfires on any of my cars because of it. For the dollar difference to the coppers, i find that the platinum ones wo...

Re: V70 1998 Timing Belt/ Crankshaft Pulley
Firstly, I have done timing belts both by removing and not removing the pulley. I would suggest you do what you have to do to get by, by not removing it you might need bit more time and frustrating attempts as many of the members suggested. You also have to take a bit more time ensuring that the bel...

Re: 1994 850 fuel line disconnect? (PCV repair)
Hey there and welcome. I normally just remove that top cover/shield, and pull the rail off by removing the injector from the intake manifold. I do not usually remove the fuel line. Once the rail comes off I simple tuck it over to the right hand side so i can continue removing the intake manifold. Mi...

Re: 1 hole in front rotor (wear indicator?) in 850
My experience is if you get cheaper back brake pads, they will be noisy specially if you match them up with cheap rotors. I use brembo rotors (just the normal one, no slots) and pads usually PBR low semi metallic or in a pinch ..Wagner semi metallic low noise types. Never had any problems since then...

Re: 850 Manifold Flex questions.
make sure you get the proper bolts and studs too if you have not managed to salvage them from the old manifold.
You may also need to order the gaskets if you cant re-use the old ones.
