I now have a used 2001 S60. The cabin fan speed is irregular. That is, it runs fast, drops to slow, then faster, sometimes staying constant, but up and down is the rule. All this while in one position. Also, three or four times, I have returned to my parked car to find the fan running, while the car...

Thanks for all the ideas. It turned out to be a pressure switch. Now all is well...with the a/c anyway...

I want to try to clean the MAF, to hopefully eliminate the misfire codes. How do I do this?

I fixed the clutch gap with the bread bag tab shortcut, and cleaned some ugly dust from the cabin sensor. However, still blinking and no a/c at all, not even on & off. Freon pressure disengaged is 100. I will go to dealer for proprietary software check only if necessary! But any insight is great...
