If not is it easily retrofitted?
I'm looking at a v60 polestar and wondering about audio options.

Re: The fan is electric, right?
There was a connector in the bottom somewhere that I missed. It was a long time ago and we don't have the car anymore so I can't remember.

Need a tire for your S60/S60R?
I have a single Toyo Proxes 4 in great shape--better than 80% tread left. We bought two new fronts, then one front blew. The rears were totally shot (and they don't make these anymore) so we decided to just get 4 new ones. This one is fine. Tire is in LA / San Fernando Valley area. $70 OBO. New, it'...

2001 S60 3500 LA, CA
Hey all, the wifey is selling her S60. I know, I know...transmission issues. We've rebuild it and it's been flawless for 20k miles. I did a spill-fill a few months ago and there was no metal anywhere. I've put new tires on it and replaced the plugs all in the past month. It's got newish front struts...

Re: Climate bulbs all out?
Turns out the new bulbs all blew out. At least that's what it looks like, they were all dark when I pulled the unit out. I put new (again) bulbs in there, no dice. I'm thinking there's a short somewhere. What could short out from working on it without disconnecting the battery? I'd think the fuse sh...

Re: Sway bar link replacement - jacking question
Best way to do sway bars is to put the car on ramps. That way the suspension is compressed and the sway bars aren't pulling against themselves at full droop.

Re: Replacing shock oil? Anyone tried it?
There was an article in this month's Grassroots Motorsports where they tried this with decent (preliminary) results. I'm mostly interested in this as an academic exercise. If it saves $, bonus.

Replacing shock oil? Anyone tried it?
Since my Lemons days I've wanted to try replacing the oil in a set of shocks to restore them to new(er) condition. This is generally difficult because most shocks are solid units, so replacing the fluid requires cutting open the shock, then resealing it with a welder. Among other things, you have no...
