940 Turbo Oil Cooler Problems

While checking out the hoses. I noticed there were 2 hoses under the engine that were gummy. I purchased them to replace. While taking off the oil filter (change oil at same time) the oil filter was wrenched on. In the process of taking off the filter I had to put some torque on it. In doing so, the...

940 driver side seat rail adjustment

My 94 940 turbo leaked at the evap condensation drain a few weeks ago. I have repaired the area by clearing the drain and recaulking the cover on the blower motor and recaulking the screen that stops junk from coming into the windshield wiper cowling. Since the interior was soaked from the initial l...

When I put the hose in the cowling it drained out there. The wholes nearest the front drained first and the next and ...

Re: 940 Leak on Passenger Side

I took off the cowling and cleaned off the screens around the blower. I filled the area with a hose and it began draining right at the hinges of the front door. There were 2 holes in the frame that drained as well. Then a 3rd hole opened up and began draining. I looked in the backseat footwell and t...

Water Pump or Engine problems ?

Hello, A few weeks ago my wife's water pump gasket leaked. We purchased a new gasket set and installed it. The vehicle leaked coolant this past weekend and it looked to be coming out of the pump area again. After investigating it, the small bolt that attaches to the coolant pipe was not tight enough...

1994 940 turbo cooling fan problems

Hello, I am having problems with my 1994 940 turbo. The cooling fan won't turn on. I have swapped out the cooling fan relay and it did not help. I have run 2 wires directly from the battery and tested the fan and it does run on both speeds. I will idle the car with the A/C on and it will overheat. T...
