Re: 1998 Volvo S70 Misfiring--Tried Many Things
I found a cheap one on eBay for 60 bucks so I'm gonna try replacing it and see what happens. Hopefully it will fix it!

Re: 1998 Volvo S70 Misfiring--Tried Many Things
Is there a way to test the resistance of the mass air flow sensor? Is there a range of values it should be in or is it something I just have to replace?

Re: 1998 Volvo S70 Misfiring--Tried Many Things
Thanks guys I'm gonna try checking the ends of the wires and the mass airflow sensor. How much is the sensor? It can really cause all the cylinders to misfire like that? How much would one run me?

Even if they aren't arching when I take the valve cover off? They could still be bad?

1998 Volvo S70 Misfiring--Tried Many Things
Hey guys, I've been trying to diagnose the problem for a couple of weeks now. I have a pretty bad loss of power when driving my '98 S70 base model. Putting it in 4th gear or even 3rd up a hill going 50 mph I still lose speed when I floor it. I got the codes out and I changed the O2 sensor, the distr...

Re: '98 S70 Oxygen Sensor Female wire connectors pulled out
Thanks so much!!! This is perfect! I was going to have to go to the junk yard tomorrow to look at one but I don't have to anymore. I was looking for that wiring diagram everywhere and couldn't even find it in the official Volvo diagram. Cheers!

'98 S70 Oxygen Sensor Female wire connectors pulled out
Hey guys, I was wondering if someone would be able to tell me what the order is for the 4 wires that go into the female end where the oxygen sensor plugs into. Something happened to one of the guides and the wire came loose and got caught up in the driveshaft and it pulled the wires right out of the...
