how hard is it to replace motor mounts on a s40 1.9t? Does anyone know the going rate for work to be done at dealer or repair shop? Thanks for any info you might have!!

My 2001 S40 is making a rough noise when I put the car in reverse from park. Also when I put it in Drive from reverse. I can hear the noise from the front of the car. Anyone have any suggestiion where I should start looking for a solution?

My 97 850 with approx (replaced engine) 90,000. miles on it dies randomly. No particular pattern other than. The SRN lite comes on first within a few seconds other lite on the driver panel come on, and the gages stopped working, i.e., odmeter, gas, and rpm. The car starts to lose power..,regardless ...

My wife's s40 headlites are out, not coming on , the high and low beams, the bulb are OK, not blown.

started, but I probably did not see the earlier warning signs.....Again thanks for the INFO...

did the remanufacture alternator fix your problem? my symtoms are very simular to your, why do you think it's a wiring or electronic problem?
