My 2004 V70 fan/blower gets very noisy and vibrates (dash and steering wheel) quite a bit above the #4 setting on the fan dial. The dealer suggested a cabin air filter change (which I did) and 'cleanout' (I stuck the shopvac hose up there as far as I could)...the noise and vibration continue ...

I don't know if this will work for non-turbo models or other years of the S80, but it worked on my car:

1. Insert ignition key and turn to position I.

Entire driveshaft replaced with new one from Volvo. However, it was only an 80% solution. What I mean is, I still have a minor, but noticeable, vibration between 20-50 mph. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
