Update.... My son has moved away to grad school in Minnesota. He has left Volvomort (our nickname for the car) behind. I didn't know if anyone would have some interest in a parts car. Oh, and here are instructions for removing the alternator. It's not hard. I replaced mine with a Bosch rebuilt for $200, you can find it cheaper on the internet. BTW, these instructions are a subset of instructions that I posted on VolvoForums.com for replacing the oil seals on the oil trap. But yo...

Headlight lo beam replaced with an H7 today... Stereo installl went well today thanks to some threads here and on swedespeed. JVC Arsenal KD-A815 headunit (bluetooth/usb/cd) Crutchfield faceplate - I think I'd perfer a Volvo replacement cover, but hey it came with the headunit. Added a Panavise 7513...

Ok, Pulled the check engine light codes I'm getting..... P0141 02 Sensor - Heater Circuit (Bank 1 sensor 2) P0455 Evap Emission control - gross leak detected P1132 Powertrain Looks like I have some searching to do.
