Re: 2002 S 80 CV shaft.
Mine definitely has something like that, it is definitely not straight from bearing to tranny. I will just order the visco shaft. Thanks.

Re: 2002 S 80 CV shaft.
Ok, there is a unit in that space but I'm not sure if it fits those dimensions. I will snap a pic tomorrow and post it here.
W/O the visco-cluth does the axle go straight from the bearing housing the the tranny or is there a round piece there either way? It looks like a thick saucer.
Thanks!

Re: 2002 S 80 CV shaft.
How can you tell if your car has a viscous clutch? I am trying to replace my shaft on the passenger side and I'm not sure what to look for.
There is a big, heavy looking thing between the transmission and the bearing mount that bolt to engine. Is that the visco clutch?

Re: Headlight question
Great, thanks! Figured it would be on the top of the dash. Looks like the unit I checked does have a sun sensor but only for intensity to adjust the temp of the A/C. Seems a little ahead of its time for 2000.

Headlight question
For those of you who saw my last post I have a small update. I also have a question about my headlights. So I got the wiring and vacuum lines all dialed in. The car runs awesome! I took it down and got it smogged and registered without a hitch. Thanks for the forum and the excellent help I received ...

Re: Gas problem?
Update:
The car is responding to throttle and idling. It has a very irregular idle and seems like it's missing on a cylinder or two. When I put it to ~3k rpm it smoothers out significantly.
While running the car pops the codes P0300 P1355 P1357 P1359 P1361
Any ideas?

Gas problem?
Good news, bad news. I bolted everything up and got my '00 T6 "running". I need some advice, the car would start and run pretty choppy then get worse and eventually die. It would die after 5-8 seconds of bad running. Here is what I think it is: I had 5/8 tank in the car and it has been sit...

Re: Need some help with engine install
I give up. Ordered all the other parts including a new box. I'm just going to fabricate my own connection. Any ideas/suggestions to help me brainstorm? Was thinking I could drill an "accent" hole in the top of the box itself  , next to the main connection, and run the hose or a small ...

Re: Need some help with engine install
ok, thanks for looking. I'm asking some salvage yards if they have it.
If anyone is curious, tascaparts.com has the pcv tank for $27, $10 shipping though but doesn't increase with additional parts.
