Re: 2008 xc90 starts but then dies. Runs most of the time

Bottom line, if you are having these strange engine dying issues on a regular basis after 20 miles or so and have changed everything wasting money like I did, then consider this as the issue. Never mind those who rely on mechanics who will charge you hundreds with no answer, go buy a heavy-duty mag...

Re: Recharge A/C - which port and where?

6nm sounded more like a higher pressure port than 3nm

Re: Recharge A/C - which port and where?

Thanks Geokilla! This answers my question too. :D I thought it odd that AllDataDIY shows attaching the hose to the front port, labeled 6nm (or something similar). The port in your photo - and on my 2006 XC90 - is labeled 3nm (or something similar). I wanted to be sure before attempting to add R134a ...

Thanks, Road1will. I'll check into the recall. We are the second owners for this vehicle.

Fuel smell cause

Our 2006 XC90 has recently developed a problem where upon accelerating from a stop sign or traffic light results in a fuel smell for a few minutes in the cabin. Could this be a PCV related problem or does anyone have an idea what I should be looking for?

What tool to use

I have the kit for hardwiring our new radar detector to the fuse block but want to make sure I don't mess up the interior while routing the wire. We have a 2006 XC90... I want to come up from the left door fuse block and route along the side to the front channel between the windshield & dash (wh...

Re: National Tire & Battery Rip Off

I have had similar problems with them. The last time they charged my card for repairs that had not been done. I was young at the time and didn't realize they didn't need a credit card till work is completed.

Direct-wire radar detector

I'm trying to direct-wire my radar detector in my XC90 by routing the wire around the dash to the left-side fuse panel. From there I'm routing to the seconday fuse panel under the steering column since all the 12 volt outlet fuses are in this area. My problem has been determing where to run the grou...

Re: 2006 S60 - Where to hardwire radar detector?

I want to direct wire my radar detector in our 2006 XC90. Does the same apply to this model? I'm aware of the fuse block just inside the driver's door, on the left of the dash. Is there also a fuse block at the firewall? I want this to be switched, just like the cigarette lighter is.

Thanks!
