Re: Radiator Fan will not shut off - drains battery

So, my 2011 XC70 T6 started doing this today when I went to the car wash... grrr. My local Advance Auto Parts parts manager ordered me a new Cooling Fan Relay Control Module which I'm going to pick up tomorrow. Hopefully that will solve the issue... but if I have to replace the whole fan assembly be...

Re: 08 XC70 Bucking Bronco

Are the tires the same on the front as they are on the back with the exception being the fronts are newer?

If only it had the 6 Speed Gearbox... :/ It's a beautiful car though!

Re: 1997 850 N/A shutting off/stalls while in park

I had a similar issue with the '95 80 t5r I used to have and it turned-out to be a leaking intake manifold gasket. I pulled the intake off, replaced the PCV system, replaced the throttle body to manifold gasket, replaced the intake manifold gasket, replaced the vacuum line elbows and several cracked...

Re: 1998 S70 shudder under braking

+1 for warped rotors.

I had this exact same problem on a newer set of slotted/cross-drilled rotors the last owner had installed just before I bought the car when I had it.

I bought a new set of rotors and pads which resolved the problem; no more shuddering when braking at high speeds.

Great Job! I always thought the automatics blew-up at the 300 HP mark... Nice to see someone still interested in this platform.

Re: Charging System Warning Light dimly lit in gauge cluster

As always gentlemen, thank you for your input. It is very, very much appreciated! I replaced both the cable from the back of the alternator to the solenoid, and the solenoid to the positive post of the battery with brand-new 2 ga. cables. I noticed an instant difference! The starter cranks like it's...
