The issue was the PNP switch. He said he has never seen a car behave like this with a bad PNP switch. He put a used one in and drove it for a couple days, all problems alleviated. He ordered a new one and installed it,.,...car runs like a dream....; - )

I think they fixed the ETM by your year car to be honest with you...I have not researched your year. But my car had multiple problems...the new etm is nice, seems like better throttle response. My issues turned out to be the PNP switch..car runs beautiful now

Davidsvolvo; Where do you stand with this issue? Have you made any progress? The sjop that has my car said he is trying to source a used PNP switch and he wants to replace it and see if this helps. As of now..I am making a neuse and going to hang myself.....

I have my car at an Indie shop and they have had it for a month...flashing arrow...drives ok...just flashing arrow.....I had my TCM and ECM both sent to xemodex and there was nothing wrong with them. I even ordered a used one ..popped it in and nothing..... Originall...

I put in a replacement TCM and verified via Xemodex that it will work. After the TCM replacement...I still have a flashing arrow and a check engine light.....now....when I put the car in reverse, it goes in really hard....with the old module it did not do that......

The ETM that the shop put in .....is bad.....he said he is going through the necessary steps to prove it is bad so they will take it back....Car should be ready by monday....I'm glad I payed the shop to do this...otherwise I would be taking the ETM out ...again...
