okay, i replaced with another reman axle and another new seal with same result. I did have the transmission rebuilt not to long ago and now I am leaning toward movement in diff. of something in that direction. Does anyone have knowledge with tranny rebuilds?

The second I am leaning toward is the carrier bearind on the shaft that has not been replaced during the remanufacturing process is worn causing the axle to wobble ever so slightly during rotation which is effecting the axle seal to leak from the movement?

Have a check engine code P0442 that has come on. Evap small leak detected. I have replaced gas cap and reset computer but has come back on. From some internet reading I have observed folks with either the J hose at rear canister or the hoses on evap valve on front fan shroud to blame. Has anyone her...

I have the same issue. Replaced with two Napa reman axles and two OEM seals and it still leaks. I believe you are right with the polishing theory. Do you have any further updates?
