The oil is likely due to a bad seal on the oil cap.

Can't see your pic, but the charge pipe is easy to pull; just loosen the 2 clamps and remove the two torx screws. Then you'll be able to pull the plastic covers.

My car is a 2004 V70 fwd. The stock set were 17" amaltheas wearing 235/45-17's, and they rubbed. Right now I have 18" pegs that I bought used wearing 225/40-18's....no rub at all. This is a slightly undersized tire, though.

The price seems a bit high. I bought mine, same year and model but with 134k, a year ago for $5200. It needed struts and a pcv system, but at 103k the one you're looking at probably does too.

I had a similar issue on my S40. The P1 cars are known for this. Over time the compressor clutch wears and the electromagnet can no longer maintain engagement as the compressor and clutch heats up. Ours would blow ice cold for about 20 minutes then go out. Once it cooled off it would work fine again...

I'm in the same boat with my 04 V70- it recently started consuming a bit more oil than usual and began leaking from the front side of the engine around the PCV components.
