2004 Volvo S80 Extra parts

My o4 S80 was recently totalled in a snow/ice storm. I have new 2 Moog inner tie rod ends PN EV8000-43, and one Moog right outer tie rod end PN ES80982. They are in the original Moog boxes. I would sell them all to anyone in the USA-48 states for $65.00 including shipping

S80 T6 Hard Starting

I have an 04' S80 T6 that has had starting problems for over 8 months. Just got the car back from a Volvo dealer who replaced the fuel pump and pcv hose under warranty/recall. Their diagnostic equipment said the car needed a cam timing sensor-they wanted almost $500 to replace it. I replaced it with...

Timing cover installation 04' S80 T6

I was able to remove the timing cover from my 04' S80 T6 without breaking the plastic nipple, or the 90 degree plastic fitting that sticks thru the upper center of the cover, apparently in the same area that non-turbo models have a bolt. I needed to replace my temp coolant sensor. Now I am having a ...

Timing belt cover removal S80 T6

I would like to remove the plastic timing belt cover from my 2004 S80 T6, however I'm not sure how to remove the 90 degree plastic fitting for the radiator overflow hose that is located near the center of the cover. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

04" S80 T6 won't start below 20 degrees F

I have a 2004 Volvo S80 T6 that starts fine until the temp drops to at or below 20 degrees F. The engine turns over fine, however it will not start. Opening the air filter cover and spraying a small amount of startring fluid will usually get the car to start. I have tried unplugging the Mass air met...

Re: reduced engine performance warning light

Finally took my car to Glasgow Automotive in St Paul, Mn where they work on Volvo's exclusively and have the VIDA scanning equipment. They said it was either the mass air flow sensor or the ETM. Since the sensor was an easy fix I tried that first. Unfortunately it did not fix the problem, so I am go...

Reduced engine performance warning

I have a 2004 S80 T6. The reduced engine performance light started coming on recently. The car slows to around 10 mph and pushing on the accelerator does nothing. Stopping and restarting the car a few minutes later cures the problem for a day or two. I have already replaced the fuel filter, fuel pre...

reduced engine performance warning light

I have a 2004 S80 2.9l T6 FWD with 232k. Recently the reduced engine performance light came on, the car lost power and I pulled to the side of the road. the engine slowed to idle and did not stop. With the car in park, fully depressing the accelerator, the engine revved to just under 2,000 rpm, and ...
