Re: 08 XC90 doors locked/unlocked while parked

No spills that I'm aware of, using the key in the door still works as designed, I'm going to check/try the remote thing perhaps it's buttons sticking on that.
Thanks will reply with findings

08 xc90 doors locked/unlocked while parked

I have an 08 xc90 that while parked the doors will randomly lock/unlock. If we park the car, lock it and walk in the house, i can come back out 30 min later and hear the doors locking/unlocking. Sometimes if we don't drive for a few days it will actually drain the battery.

Re: 2008 XC90 Parking brake problems

I'm not sure I follow you on this, but that may work, will that change the direction of the cable though? it almost seems if you could cut the end of the cable off and crimp a new connector on that would shorten the cable

Re: 2008 XC90 Parking brake problems

I just checked the shoes and they are fine, so i went back to the adjustment at the console. when pulling on the cable I noticed everything to be extremely loose, like the cable was not connected under the console. I started ripping the center console down and found both cables someone became discon...

Re: 2008 XC90 Parking brake problems

2008 XC90 Parking brake problems

any tips on the parking brake adjustment, should the threads be out on the collar under the center console, seems to have helped but not 100%

when I press the parking brake pedal down it wants to just go to the floor

Re: 01 V70 T5 no oil pressure light - intermitant

I took it to our local volvo shop to further diagnose, it's the variable valve timing hub on the exhaust cam
and at 131K the timing belt is over due.
