Anyone know where i can get the bolts/screws for the lift gate lock/latch? I'm assuming these are the same size and thread as the door latch assemblies, would that be correct? 1998 V70R
Thanks!

Is the Stylized "R" font trademarked?
Hi. I was thinking about a cool piece of merchandise to make using Volvo's "R" logo... how can i avoid getting in trouble with Volvo when creating merchandise that shows the "R" that we love so much?

WTB: Fuel Level Sensor 98 V70.
Anyone parting out a V70? i could use a working Fuel Level Sensor without having to buy the whole pump attachment. I can't fathom why the level sensor is different than in a 2wd which is less than $100 but this one averages more than $350? is it a repairable part?

98 V70r, Bad Fuel level sensor?
So this just happened. started the car, fuel level read as empty.. went and put a couple gallons in it to run an errand. No change. Then after i went to fill it, it only took about 10 gallons, it seems. Started the car and the gauge did jump up for the gauge test.. oddly right to 10 gallons and fell...

How about: "Haven't given up, but intend to fix?"

Cruise control, it works fine.. but..
It's obvious if it's working, however after having it on every car before it, you get used to it. It's like a dial tone on a land line phone, useless, but comforting.

You'll just be bypassing its functionality altogether. This will stop the CEL and allow you to actually remove all the components of the SAS and not have to worry about it. It's generally agreed that this system is useless. However be forewarned that this violates any local emissions regulations and...

Re: 98 V70 T5 430,000 km
it's the Secondary Air System, depends on the CEL code. Check this out: http://volvospeed.com/vs_forum/topic/140772-sas-air-pump-deletewrite-up-with-pics/ You can fix this for little more than $15 at Radio Shack and about 45 minutes of your time. i did mine a couple weeks ago and it's been 300 miles...

Re: Door lock problems
now, if we only had pics!! i think this is the same issue on my 98 v70r. they go down just fine on the front passenger and rear driver door, but don't go up. i think they budge a little, but don't pop up tp unlock. The dealer who sold me the car told me that it probably just needed some silicone lub...
