Finished! Not hard to work myself through, but here is the basic idea:
1. Remove Plastic 3.2 engine cover. This pulls off and is held in place with compression rubber pieces
2. Remove air supply plastic cover, which is also simply snapped on to its base
3. Loosen and disconnect air supply hose by ...

Re: 2007 xc90 3.2 Brake vacuum pump oil leak
Bailey:
Can you recall some of the main steps. Specifically, what had to come off the engine to get the left bolt, and how was the vacuum line removed without braking anything?
The rest looks super easy.
Thanks!

Re: Used one owner 98 v70 value?
I would argue that the price is low.
Last year, I sold privately a 1999 V70 XC with 156K TB, new DS and basically "restored" for $4700.
This past week, I sold privately a 2000 V70 XC with 155K new TB, DS, tires and non working AC for $4600.

Re: Car shifts out of park with no brake, shifter button app
Thanks everyone for the suggestions.
There is a metal bar that the shifter button raises and lowers, and this bar prevents park to reverse shift changes.
I found that my bar was broken in half down the middle, both pieces laying on the floorboard. I tried to mod it to make it fit again but I am ...

Re: Car shifts out of park with no brake, shifter button app
Shifter button on the stick is good. The over-right switch is a little finicky. I can never tell if it is engaged or disengaged. I'll take the console off shortly to inspect further.

Re: Car shifts out of park with no brake, shifter button app
Mike,
I do not hear or feel the typical click. The shifter is very loose in that wi a slight push it simply shifts in and out of park , reverse neutral etc....regardless of brake application or shifter button application.

Guys,
I am having the reverse of the problem many of you have with your shifters.
My transmission gear selector can be moved between every gear, including park, without any brake pedal application and without pressing the override button the the gear selector button on the backside of the gear ...

Re: Transmission Leak - Dripping!
Lebaowth,
I have symptoms of a leak in the same spot as your photos show...and it looks like the metal line into the transmission and next to the sensor is leaking.
Can you tell me how you did this...did you need to drain the transmission first, or were you able to quickly swap the o-right part ...

Replaced VC, now Vibration at Higher Speeds (has new DS)
Guys,
I have a 99 V70XC, and the drive shaft was replaced a few months ago with a colorado rebuild due to clunking and pinging noise...both CV boots were worn out. The car has been running great since then, but had a clunk develop over time when shifting from drive to reverse, out of park and ...

1999 Volvo V70XC, purchased at Auction and fixed up. Major things have included: engine tune up (coil, plugs, t-belt, upper engine mount, thermostat and IAT sensor), various cosmetic including seat cushions, third row seat, Colorado Rebuilt Driveshaft and new VC bushing, etc). 154K on the clock. I ...
