Is there an engine compartment diagram available that shows all the little brackets and supports attached to the engines. my 850 and my v70 awd seem to have a few left over, and I havent a clue from where. They are for hose and cable routing, but the shapes and hole sizes dont make their placement ...

Lower radiator hose let go on the highway, literally a 12" rupture. had to drive another 6 minutes to get safely off the road.
Shut down called a tow. replaced all hoses upper, lower, overflow, splice, and turbo return. Also did thermostat. Drove it tonight ...

It seems like there are a variety of mixed components in the evap, and fuel systems. Sort of like a hodgepodge of leftovers. Is it a first year thing? Maybe I'll just go plastic all the way, the metal has so many bends ...

98 V70 AWD parked over the summer, as luck would have it it's emission time. Need to pass to rereg.
Top of fuel tank is leaking somewhere. Mech says all the hoses and fittings between pumps and emission lines are shot.
Does anyone have a good diagram of the tank plumbing? Some stuff not available ...

Are you sure that pistons are toasted?I had never seen that happened to these cars...in fact...never on one Volvo.
Maybe the rings are melted around pistons....that i had seen on these cars.
Unless the ecu is insanely re-mapped so the pistons can't withstand the new combustion temperatures...i don ...

Toasted two pistons on my 850 turbo. The # 3 valve seat rotted out and the head gasket went boom. Got another head did a valve job, good as new. Block not sure about yet, pistons 2 and 3 melted to the rings. Back to the block, there is no wear ridge, it still has the crosshatching, however ...

Dont know where to start so I'm predicting the worst and hoping for the best.
Got a 96 850 turbo Platinum for a great price. Did the usual stuff for a car with 265k on the clock.
Tune up, oil change, had to do front struts assys, and rear shocks. Not a leak on the engine, not a spot on the driveway ...
