I have a mechanic, back home, where the car is (Portugal). He took it apart and mailed it to those ETM guys.

Because I am on vacation, out of the country, for these 2 weeks.

So I am coordinating the whole thing remotely... (Apparently with moderate-to-zero success... :|) As it happened literally ...

So, update:

Not being close to the car, I sent the ETM to some guys specialized in ETM's, with a proper bench test... They told me it had no problem whatsoever... They even sent me the test video, with no errors and it being tested in the different regimes and responding normally...

This one I was ...

How can I perform the ETM test? Is it through VIDA?

Well, I don't know if it's murphy's laws, but 10 years after, here I am again... 2001 S60 T5.. Same car, similar (??) problem...

10 years ago had a problem (up in this thread), and had the precious help of our generous friend precopster, who steered me in the way of the solution... Had a bricked ...

First time I had the problem, changed SACER and the car was fine for some time but then started to act again.

User Precopster, after posting vida codes (somewhere up in this thread), told me that my codes meant ETM failure, not just sensor, so I ordered an used one from ebay and swapped SACER to it ...

As I mentioned, I changed the fuel pump yesterday so... No, the 15 sec delay in pos 2 didn't help the slightest bit... :|

As for the gas, I usually spend like 1 tank every 3 months so... Evenmore, I had to consume the entire tank in 1 week for my mechanic to be able to change the pump without ...

Well, the title just about says it all...

2001 S60 T5 LPG converted (BRC Plug & Drive), 150000 Km.

Started to have difficulties starting ii the morning a few months ago.

- Cranks for exactly 7 seconds after sitting overnight, then runs perfectly.

- If I turn it off ...

Normally you don't really need to change the position of the magnet.

Try "the basic way" first, and then move towards the (eventually) necessary troubleshooting.

So, long story short, I contacted doublebug, we scheduled for next week... and then, the day after fitting the SACER sensor the DTC vanished, never to come back until the present day... I haven't yet connected it to VIDA but in the present I'm runnig for ~300 miles without DTC's and with the car ...
