OK Im back after a long break from the V50. I disassembled and found the timming belt was "shredding" and the debris got wrapped around the crankshaft sprocket causing the belt to slip. I also found the belt tensioner not very tight. http://i1264.photobucket.com/albums/jj481/vcolper/IMG_12...

Manually? You mean removing t he motor and rotating the slot. Yes I tried but it gets stuck...It seems jammed.

I just purchased a 1986 Turbo 760 wagon.... The sunroof seems to be stuck. The motor operates, I checked it by removing and testing. It goes back and forth easliy. The roof itself moves a little when I try to open it (with the switch)either up or to the rear. It seems the mechanism is stuck/jammed. ...

It does shift sometimes. Also whenever I activate the switch, the indicator liight responds, but the tranny doesnt,
