Has anybody done a temp by pass of the heater fan resistor on an early ECC car? Is it feasible by directly powering fan? I don't care if if only runs on high speed as I plan to sell the car in the next few weeks. I have replaced the resistor once with a used one and got about nine months out of it. ...

When replacing 850 exhaust manifold gaskets what direction do the metal faced sides go? Against the head or against the manifold? I've had the head off for awhile and forgot which way these go. thanks
