I'm starting to wonder if the O2 sensor in my car is the culprit. My mechanics who hooked up the Volvo diagnostic tool said that it is reading but perhaps it is not sending the right signal to the ECU to adjust properly. Might replace that since I've replaced everything else and see what happens.

Car is being serviced at the moment and the idle control valve was replaced but it still stalled on the mechanic. Suspect coil and wires but I'm doubtful... We shall see...

If stationary, the revs dip down but doesn't stall. It stalls when the car is moving slowly and clutch engaged. Perhaps it does it when there is slight load.

I'm in the same position with my temperature selection knob.

I read somewhere but can't find it now that pledge and a microfibre cloth takes away the stickiness. I haven't tried it yet but there's no harm in giving that a try.
