You will probably get a lower mpg with the fuel trim adjusted. I would try and maybe find a used pump to save a few bucks. Since everything is dependent on another component, as far as info going to the ecu, it would be easier just to replace the pump. I would do a search on the net and see what use...

850 turbo procedure for rear main crank seal change.

Just looking for any step by step info on changing 94 850 turbo rear crank seal, as far as auto trans removal etc.
Seems I seen one before, that was more straight forward than what the Haynes manual suggests, not such a big thing.

If the blades are not "winter" blades, the ones with the rubber cover over the arm components, look close and see if there is any ice or dirt build up where the arms connecting to the blades should slide freely in there.

As others have mentioned, I was going by what Volvo service manual says, and is really a thing of driving conditions and oil types. I use synthetic, especially because of the colder climate I' live in. Just research is the best advice for peace of mind, and make decisions based on that, and get a ma...

Could be the power connection for the electric antenna, sends power to make it go up and down, according to what the deck tells it.

I would suggest oil changes at 5000 miles or each 6 months (unless gets pretty dark/black sooner) I have a 94 850 Turbo Should be a sticker under the hood or filler door maybe about fuel, but I run mine at 89 octane no problem (but the fuel where I live in Canada is probably better quality, since I ...

Ok, if you did it yourself, the piston should retract all the way when you go to re-install it. Not just back far enough to get it over the disc again, but a little further, so there is "some" room for freeplay. If it is a real tight fit getting it back on, I would think it isn't going all...

When you say "gouged" are there actual deep scores, or scratches? I would think if anything, sounds like the caliper itself is not retracting all the way.
I would pull that side again, and make sure all the components are working freely and the caliper piston is smooth, all the way back.

I would be a little cautious on any modifications, unless your insurance company gives the ok in writing, or an approved source can make a change. If you ever had an accident, even if not your fault, one could get into a lengthy battle rgarding un-authourized changes. As long as whatever you do is i...
