Adjusting power steering pump pressure
Hello! I just replaced a power steering pump on my 1997 S90, and the pressure seems too high. The steering has the feel of a big luxo-yacht, and I think it's because the new pump is producing a lot of pressure. I don't have a way of measuring it, but I see that the pressure regulator can be backed o...

1997 S90
Hello all. Does anyone have a source for a brake booster for a '97 S90? I put an aftermarket unit, made by "MTC", and it failed within several months. It looks like there's only aftermarket units available, so does anyone have some experience with these and can recommend a decent one? Than...

My S90 is drawing excessive current on the "Audio" circuit (fuse 18 in the drivers side fuse panel) even though the stereo unit is disconnected. It's roughly 2 amps. I've tried wiggling the wire bundles under the dash, but no change. Is there something else connected to the "Audio&quo...

Can I bypass the in-dash vacuum?
Hello all. On my 1997 S90, I have the classic vacuum servo leaking problem, and I'll dig into the dash and replace it eventually, but for now, the vacuum is bad enough that the heater control valve won't close all the way, dumping heat in the middle of summer. So, according to the diagram in this th...

How do I tell the difference between a bad O2 sensor and a damaged catalytic converter?
1998 V70 GLT - the turbo was leaking oil into the intake, so I took the turbo off and had it rebuilt. Now that's all back together, I get codes for the O2 sensors - sensor 1 slow response, and rear O2 sensor compensation. What's a good test to determine if the O2 sensors are bad, or if the catalytic...
