Re: 2004 s40 (No Turn Signals At All) Hazards Work
Bill, As allways... thank you for your input! Yes... I do believe you are right on that. Neighbor's car is a 04 s40 My wife had a 98 v70 which we sold months ago. I now recall having the turn signal issue with the v70 intermittanly. My temporary cure for that was to shut the car off and then restart...

Re: swedish*auto*lamps*for*less? on ebay
Cant say anything else (pos or neg) on their other parts. However the tail light assembly is another story. Its rediculous to go through that many tail lights because of melting plastic and shorts back there. The plastic used in that mold is clearly inferior and low to no heat tollerance and its not...

Re: Stalling problem - 1990 240 DL - CANNOT diagnose
I had a similar issue on my 89 245 back in January and it was frustrating. Of course I was going through the trial and error part alone hoping to avoid a mechanic. As jimmy57 said, one of my issues was a power stage back in September last year. Replaced that after checking and cleaning everything el...

Re: s90 threw code P0442
lindy8_man Hate to say it, but volvo plastic is troublesome. I guess with age (as my 89 245) the plastic in our cars become brittle where if you look at it funny, it will break or crack. I have used epoxy and a strip of plastic on the underside of parts in my car like the "map pockets and the e...
