Thanks to everyone that helped me out. I purchased struts from ebay ( no they are not Stabilus ....got a slight feeling I may have to replace the current one's with Stabilus ). They don't sound very smooth but, they work for now !!!

OK....Here's the deal... I purchased the trunk struts from ebay. So far I have one of them installed. However, I having a hard time snapping the retaining clip on to the strut. Is there another way of doing this or will I have to put the clip on first and attempt to snap the ball joint into the clip...
