Need 2001 volvo s80 frame or non-runner
I was just in a car accident that smashed the fender, bumper, axle, and pretty much peeled the hood pack a little on the driver side frame. It's all completely bent out of shape. However, the motor and transmission are in great shape, and I'm hoping to buy a body for it. I don't really have much ...

Re: Bolts for coil pack broke in half.. Now what?
Really, that's all it was? A clogged up hose? That makes a lot more sense now that I think about it. It's also note worthy that the oil I keep finding is dirty oil, even when I just change the oil. The dipstick reads at full level, so I'm just not sure where all this extra oil is coming from, so it ...

Re: 2005 S80 - One Headlight Wiper stays on... only one...
This may be uncompletely your answer, but I remember on an older car I had, the bolt holding the windshield wiper in place was loose. So no matter what my switch position was, if I hit a bump, or was just simply driving, my winshield wipers would come on and stop randomly. Maybe the same can be said ...

@jbkeene, I really don't know. I bought it vs a '98 toyota corolla, and now look where I'm at. It's a love hate thing..
@cees klumper I have not tried a bolt extractor. I will soon, but it seems like a kit would be pricey, and money is an object right now. Vs a little $4 tube of gasket seal

Re: 2001 S80 cranks but won't start?
Sorry, the issue was determined that the ECU relay was missing. Nobody thought to check for a fuse that wasn't there. Strange how the car ran and drove all the time without the ECU relay. I'm thinking sabotage. Later on, I had an issue with a ground wire being loose and causing electrical failure ...

Bolts for coil pack broke in half.. Now what?
FOR A 2001 VOLVO S80
Long story short, I tried replacing my spark plugs. The previous ones were el-cheapo brand I bought because of an issue where oil is getting in the spark plug wells. Unrelated.

Re: My 2001 2.9 Is Such A Sweet Car!
Being my 2nd car, my first being a 2000 Saturn SL2.... Car is definitely an upgrade by any standard. Even having to replace the oil trap and some other parts. The previous owner of this Volvo had no clue what they were doing, and now I'm picking up the slack. Hard.

Re: 2001 S80 engine oil leak or blowing oil out
Mine does the same thing. Oil dipstick gave a low reading, poured 2 quarts of oil, drove about 60 miles and now the car won't start. Took it to a mechanic and there's apparently a wiring fault. Oil has definitely sprayed onto something. Let me know what you find so I can do the same

2001 S80 cranks but won't start?
Hello. First, my name is Austin. Thanks for having me here.
Anyways. My 2001 S80 is cranking, but not starting? I've had multiple people come and look, but none can get it to start.
I've tried jumping it off, replacing spark plugs, and even changed one of the coil packs. On One I had pulled out ...
