Ok so plot twist. I know of a 2000 V70 2.0T with a shot auto Trans. How hard would it be to put the 4 speed box into the V70, or even the 850 drive train into the V70?

I have the 855 barrel still in,
and have been sitting the R key in it while the R antenna is plugged in, with the R ecu plugged in
and have been using a screw driver to turn the ignition switch that is usually mounted on the barrel.

So the physical barrel itself is the original one, but the other ...

Well that was a somewhat interesting read but I know 4.4 can be bypassed immobilizer wise, so what exactly did they come in? I understand they are drop in? Or would I have to find a turbo 4.4 unit?

Yea I pinched the 210 relay out of my 960 parts car so that is no longer an issue. The R has one of those horrible rubber type keys which starts to disintegrate after this long. Think the wags had one as in the picture previous.

The fact it fires then dies almost straight away, what does that mean to you guys?

I've never seen it before, so would assume I don't has. Which just leaves me even more screwed. It ran fine the day that I lost my key. I came home, 2 hours later a mate picked me up and I lost it some time after that. Then the day after I started trying to get it going. Everything was perfectly ...
