Re: 2006 V70 2.4D, 325K KM/200K miles recurring fault: ECM-135F Mass air flow (MAF) sensor - Signal too low
Hi all, As I had just a minor lack of power, I just kept driving the car up untill it's annual inspection. The CEL would occasionaly turn on and off. When on, I would experience lack of power due to it going into reduced torque mode. Upon inspection, I asked the mechanic to check it over and he foun...

Re: 2006 V70 2.4D, 325K KM/200K miles recurring fault: ECM-135F Mass air flow (MAF) sensor - Signal too low
Quick update: - the check engine light sometimes dissapears, aaaaaaaaaaaaand then it's back again on the next drive. Opposed to my earlier post: it sometimes comes on when the car is already warm. - I'm starting to think I might have a leaky air or vacuum hose and/or cracked intercooler, any experie...

2006 V70 2.4D, 325K KM/200K miles recurring fault: ECM-135F Mass air flow (MAF) sensor - Signal too low
Hi all, First of all, I would like to wish you fellow Volvo enthusiasts all of the best for 2022! Your thoughts on a recurring fault would be highly appreciated. I bought a V70 2.4D this spring and it's currently at ~325K kilometers / ~200K miles. I've driven it for about 20K problem-free but now it...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
JVL - good color. That looks like a different fascia and fog light shape than we got in the US...? Thanks! Actually I wouldn't have objected to another color, my XC was dark blue as well so something new wouldn't have hurt. I've been looking at the picture; and haven't been able to figure out what ...

Re: What did you do to your Volvo today?
Not today but last week: traded in the '99 V70XC for a P2! I will definately miss the XC, but it was starting to give me too many problems at 250k miles. I had deleted the angle gear long ago, but kept being chased by vibrations and broken right front driveshafts. Suspension and driveline parts for ...

Re: '99 V70XC - How-to guide: Installing a traffic advisor light bar
Nice, tight install. I love that pet cage. Far better than the pet net that came with my US spec '99 V70XC. Do you have a picture of what it looks like folded down? Does it get in the way when you put the back seats down for more luggage room? Dutch pets get all the cool toys.... Brian Hi Brian, it...

Re: '99 V70XC door trim part number
Thank you Neil! I will recommence my internet-hunt using the part number you've provided.
I have a V70XC built in Belgium so I guess your part number that matches European-spec should work out.
Thanks again!
Joost

'99 V70XC door trim part number
Hi! Since I upgraded my pc to windows 10, I unfortunately lost acces to VIDA. Would anyone happen to know (or be so kind to look up) the part number for this piece of door trim? It got busted up when one of my passengers slammed the door with the seat belt in between, a little later I seem to have l...

Re: Will a '98 angle gear fit my '99 V70XC?
Hi Eric, My car has been running as a FWD for about 40.000km now; I have entirely deleted the angle gear last year. As I wrote in my last post (Mon Feb 04, 2019 5:54 pm); I had accidentally bought and refurbished a non-fitting angle gear. I managed to sell it to another Volvo enthousiast. I didn't s...

Maybe ignition or fouled plugs?
I once experienced this on my 2000 (electronic ignition, no rotor like the '97) and the misfiring also led to a code related to the lamda sensor.
Are all plugs, cords, rotor and cap OK? Did the no start situation happen during rain?
