Can the software be purchased at the dealer and is some sort of interface to the remote required?

Thanks for the help. Took her out on the road today for the first time since the transplant. No codes on my snazzy new scan tool I got for Christmas and the fuel system is in closed loop operation. I'll get in behind it with a mirror and look for a connector. I'll examine the dead engine sensor. Tha...

Lee, Upon disconnecting the connector, I found it to have no pins, only a plastic hole. I believe it to be a placeholder/dustcap in the harness for something I must not have. I also believe "Clip under bt" to mean clip it out if the way. What is a 6849786 1 PA6? EGR Temp sensor also makes ...

1995 850 Mystery Connectors After Engine Replacement

1995 Volvo 850 with 220K miles I'm not good with image usage. I have over the last year replaced the dead engine in my '95 850GLT with one from a salvage yard (a '97). I have two connectors left over. Three really, but one is vehicle speed and I know where that one goes. The first one is a two condu...

Vehicle Speed Sensor and Xmsn Speed Sensor - 95 and 97 850

I have a 1995 850 GLT with a blown engine and ok transmission that I have removed from the vehicle. I separated the engine from the transmission and went shopping for an engine. I found an engine and transmission from a 1997 and chose to buy the unit all together to save some hassle. My original tra...

Good deal. Looks like get the Harbor Freight lifting bar and get a buddy to weld up an adapter to pick up the power steering pump bracket.

Thanks

1995 850 Engine lifting/hoisting

I have a 1995 850 with 220k miles and a blown engine. All accessories have been removed and the engine is ready to lift, just sitting on the mounts. The question is, what is(are) the best spot(s) to connect to the engine for lifting. There is a really beefy lug in the top of the transmission casting...
