Re: PO340 code--cam shaft position sensor

Thanks, I simply replaced both fuel pressure sensor, no change, pressure good, then cam sensor, not change, so usually codes will happen while engine is running, but in this case, only when turning off and on again.
Thanks

Re: 2006 Volvo S60 2.5t code p0089

Curious, I have 05 2.5T and it runs great, but am throwing both P0089 and P0340 code every time I turn off engine and start, I clear it and can drive hundred miles with no code, only comes back after shutting down engine. I have replaced both fuel pressure sensor and cam sensor, same exact issue. An...

Re: PO340 code--cam shaft position sensor

Anyone have a guess at why I get PO0340 only after shutting down engine and starting again. I can drive hundreds of miles with so svc light or code, only when I stop and start engine. I replace cam sensor, same issue? XC90 2.5T runs great, get great gas mileage, so no indications of problem other th...

Re: 2006 Volvo S60 2.5t code p0089

Curious, seeing this thread is about P0089 code, anyone have this issue. I can drive hundreds of miles and code will not come up, runs great, but every time I stop engine, the code comes up when I start engine again. I replaced fuel pressure sensor, no change. I am getting same issue with cam sensor...

Re: 2006 Volvo S60 2.5t code p0089

I once came across a broken ground wire on coil which caused all sorts of issues of missing, cutting out, etc.

Re: XC90 Radio quit working

UPDATE: I pulled out rear located AM/FM tuner module, and when disconnected, both AM/FM and now CD is not working, so given this, does anyone know which MOST connection is in line, does the connection go to radio head first, then to rear AM/FM tuner and then last to the AMP? The reason I ask is that...

Re: XC90 Radio quit working

Pulled out AMP, dry as a bone as I regularly check the drain tubes in sunroof and cowl drains, so no corrosion at all.

Re: Can you replace cam seals on a 2000 V70XC without a cam locker?

You can replace rear seals without cam lock tool, but impossible to break loose hubs without locking cams, near impossible to break loose with cams locked, took a big breaker bar for mine. And don't forget to replace O ring which is difficult to see, and often overlooked, but that is where most seve...

Re: 2002 s60 Is this the right way to set timing for VVT motor?

Curious, I bought a 06 XC70 with 2.5t and the previous owner tried to fix oil leak from exhaust CVV (O) ring which was broken. So obviously he loosened the hub to remove. He said he did lock cams, hopefully. Anyway, he said first the car would start, but ran rough, then tried to better time it, and ...
