Sprayed on or brushed? Looks good-I'd be curious to know how it holds up over time.

Brushed. Paint this thick. I usually paint a thin layer and let it cure overnight. Our roads are salted during winter months. Washing undercarriage helps. Another coat in 3-4 years.

The salted roads will be here any day now. A preventive maintenance of undercarriage helped look closely at the Exhaust Muffler -- section after CAT. After a wire brush cleaning, the aluminum wrap appears deteriorating and peeking off -- a putty knife slides an inch or so and stops. How to slow down deterioration?

Soak the expletive out of it with Fluid Film sprayed from a rattle can. You could also use Woolwax, although I have never used it. Fluid film smells like sheep. Woolwax isn't supposed to have much odor.

Just be aware that I don't know the flash point, if any, of Fluid Film and exhausts can, as you know, get quite hot.

The aluminum wrap is likely to come apart at the seam first. To close the tear and prevent the seam from further rip, the muffler may need some tape like material that is heat resistant.

A quick search shows Titanium Exhaust Warp Kit, any thoughts?
