Volvo Repair Database S60 2002 Front end clunking

I've been hearing various clunking and sometimes a "dooing" sound that appear to come from the the front end of my 02 S60. This happens at slow speeds as well as freeway speeds. I've had 2-3 different folks check out the suspension and I am always told that it is OK. I appreciate any help.

Not sure if you ever got results or not. I had to have a front strut mount replaced on mine. This also required an allignment. Total cost was just under $200.

Swaybar links and tie rod end links are notorious issues on S60's. I would start with the swaybar links if when the vehicle is off the ground there is any vertical movement when you grab hold, the PAIR need replaced. Secondly the tie rod end links go bad often... While you still have the vehicle in the air, you rock your tire up and down and front and back you see much movement they need replaced as a pair. Both are fairly easy repairs, the first is a heck of a lot easier if you have access to an impact wrench. If you do they will break free a BUNCH easier.
