Vacuum line - where does it go, 2001 V70 non-turbo

2001 V70 non-turbo
Just found a broken vac line and for the life of me, cannot find were it goes. It's a tiny hard black plastic line with 90° rubber boots on either end. The end still attached is hooked to the rear side of the air cleaner top. The end I found dangling looks to have curved under and to the front of the air cleaner box. The rubber boot on that end is torn. I'm sure I broke it when removing the air cleaner long ago but car doesn't seem to be suffereing from it.
Here are some pics - Of the 2 lines that hook to air cleaner top, it is the one on the outside (nearest fender & furthest away from engine)

All I was able to find that might help is this simple diagram, but it only shows where one of them goes...

Thanks a bunch! It makes it look like both are atttached on lower side of the air cleaner box. This narrows down where I need to be looking. I've felt all over and looked with flashlight & mirror and cannot find where it goes. As much as I hate to, I guess next step is to actually remove the air box and flip it over.
Thanks again for going to the trouble to dig up the diagram and then post it! Hope I return favor some time.

The second picture in your initial post shows the damaged rubber elbow and the location where it goes under the airbox, no?

YES, that picture shows the broken rubber elbow as I found it dangling loose. NO, it does not show the location where it goes - that's the problem.

I just had the air box off and turned upside down. The vac hose that hooks to top of the air cleaner lid that is closest to the engine (the left one in pic #3) runs under the air box and hooks to a vac pod that is mounted to front side of the air box and actuates a door that i guess allows heated air in (Regent - I think this is what you are seeing and referring to in pic #2). There is no other place on the air box or in the immediate area that i can find where the broken rubber elbow could go ...... but I'm the world worst at looking straight at something and not seeing it. Might need to get "she who must be obeyed" to take a look as she is the one who always finds my keys for me.

Any way, car seems to be running fine as is .............

Find a view of the plastic tube on my car (V70 N/A 2005). It is connected to a nipple just in front of the throttle body (full vacuum source). I replaced the elbow recently with a rubber hose. The original was cracked and torn. You should have something similar even though our throttle bodies are different. This vacuum port operates the air trap door (at the bottom of air box) through an air temperature sensor located inside the air filter top cover.
